The all-purpose liquid soap that replaces six bottles in your house. Hand-saponified from grass-fed tallow, raw Manuka honey, Portuguese olive oil, and virgin coconut oil — one 8oz bottle washes hands, hair, body, dishes, laundry, pets, produce, and floors. The tallow makes it richer and more moisturizing than plant-only castile soaps. Available in two scent options.

What it's for

  • Hand soap at the kitchen and bathroom sink
  • Body wash — rich enough to skip a separate moisturizer
  • Face wash — gentle enough for sensitive or eczema-prone skin
  • Shampoo — especially for fine, oily, or itchy scalps
  • Dish soap — safe for cast iron (won't strip the seasoning like commercial detergents)
  • Laundry — perfect for baby clothes, delicates, and wool
  • Pet wash — gentle enough for dogs and even kittens
  • Floor mopping — mix with hot water for hardwood and tile
  • Produce wash — one drop in a bowl removes wax and pesticide residue
  • Travel — one bottle replaces 5+ products in your Dopp kit
  • Anyone tired of buying separate cleaners full of mystery chemistry

Choose your scent

  • Orange Buzz — bright, citrus-forward, mood-lifting. Organic sweet orange essential oil with a warm, slightly spicy ginger note. Smells like a sunlit kitchen on a Saturday morning. The crowd-pleaser for daily use.
  • Graham Crackers — essential-oil-free, naturally scented from the raw Manuka honey, tallow, olive, and coconut oils alone. The unmistakable warm-sweet aroma of fresh honey graham crackers. Best choice for sensitive skin, kids, pets, or anyone who wants zero added fragrance.

What's in it

  • Grass-fed & finished beef tallow — slowly rendered from suet sourced from regenerative California ranches. The reason this soap is more moisturizing than any plant-based castile. Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K.
  • Organic extra virgin olive oil (imported from Portugal) — high in oleic acid and antioxidants. The traditional castile-soap base since the 12th century.
  • Organic virgin coconut oil — the lather booster. Adds the rich, creamy bubbles that other oils alone can't produce.
  • Raw Manuka honey (UMF 15+) — one of the highest-grade Manukas on the market. Naturally antibacterial.
  • Organic coconut glycerin — pulls moisture into your skin so the soap leaves you hydrated, not stripped.
  • Distilled water — the carrier for the saponified oils.
  • Potassium hydroxide (KOH) — the alkali that saponifies the oils into liquid soap. Fully consumed during saponification — no traces remain in the finished product. (Without KOH, oils don't become soap. This is how soap has been made for 5,000 years.)
  • Organic sweet orange + organic ginger essential oils (Orange Buzz only) — the natural fragrance.

That's it. No detergents (SLS/SLES), no synthetic fragrances, no parabens, no preservatives, no sodium lauryl sulfate, no antibacterial triclosan.

How to use — the dilution guide

This is concentrated soap. A little goes a long way. Here's how much to use for what:

  • Hands, face, body: 1-2 pumps undiluted into wet hands, lather, rinse
  • Shampoo: 2-3 pumps into wet hair, work into scalp, rinse thoroughly. Follow with apple cider vinegar rinse if hair feels weighed down (1 tbsp ACV in a cup of water, pour over, rinse)
  • Dishes: 1 tablespoon in a sink of hot water, or a few drops on a sponge for spot-cleaning
  • Laundry: ¼ cup per regular load, ½ cup for heavily soiled or work clothes
  • All-purpose cleaning spray: 2 tablespoons in a 16oz spray bottle of water for counters, walls, light surfaces
  • Floor mopping: ¼ cup in a bucket of hot water for hardwood, tile, or sealed stone
  • Produce wash: 1-2 drops in a bowl of water, soak produce 30 seconds, rinse
  • Pet shampoo: dilute 1:3 with water, lather, rinse thoroughly. Avoid eyes.

What to expect

  • Color: warm honey-amber from the tallow and Manuka honey
  • Texture: medium-bodied liquid — thicker than Bronner's, thinner than dish soap
  • Lather: rich and creamy from the tallow and coconut combo — not the stiff foam of synthetic detergent soaps, but a softer, more moisturizing bubble
  • Skin feel after: hydrated, not squeaky-clean. Skin shouldn't feel tight after washing — that's chemical detergent stripping. Real soap leaves skin balanced.
  • Bottle life: an 8oz bottle lasts 6-12 weeks of household hand-and-body use, longer if used only for face and travel
  • Storage: amber glass bottle keeps the soap from light degradation. Store at room temperature.

Pairs with

For the complete tallow body-care routine: wash with this soap, then layer our Honey Tallow Balm on damp skin to lock in moisture. Or upgrade your shower with our Honey Bamboo Scrub Bar for weekly exfoliation between liquid soap days.

The craft

Soap-making the old way. We slowly heat the tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, and water until they reach the right temperature, then add the potassium hydroxide carefully. The mixture saponifies over several hours of stirring — a chemical conversion where the oils and lye combine to form soap molecules and natural glycerin. Once saponification is complete (no lye remains), we fold in the raw Manuka honey at low heat to preserve its enzymes, add the essential oils last, and bottle by hand into amber glass. Every batch is tested for pH and consistency. Hand-made in Oakdale, California. Shelf life 18+ months unopened.
