Choose your scent

• Lemon Tea — bright and clean. Organic lemongrass essential oil for fresh, uplifting citrus, balanced with organic tea tree for a clean, herbal finish. The "I just got out of the shower" scent. Best for daytime use, hot weather, workouts.
• Sandalwood Cashmere — warm, grounding, gender-neutral. Organic sandalwood essential oil with a soft vanilla oleoresin base. Sophisticated and subtle — reads as confident, not perfumed. Best for date nights, cooler weather, anyone over the citrus-fresh-everything trend.

What's in it

• Grass-fed & finished beef tallow — slowly rendered from suet sourced from regenerative California ranches. Conditions the delicate underarm skin and replenishes the lipid barrier that aluminum antiperspirants strip away.
• Magnesium hydroxide — the gentle hero. Neutralizes odor-causing compounds without the irritation that baking soda can cause. The reason this deodorant works on sensitive pits when others don't.
• Kaolin clay — absorbs excess moisture without stripping skin's natural oils. Keeps underarms dry-feeling without antiperspirant chemistry.
• Non-nano zinc oxide — supports a calm, fresh-smelling skin environment. The non-nano particles sit on the skin and don't absorb into the body.
• Organic bamboo powder — fine-milled for additional moisture absorption with a silky finish.
• Organic arrowroot powder — the silky base. Absorbs sweat without leaving a chalky residue.
• Baking soda — included in much smaller amounts than typical natural deodorants for gentle odor neutralization without irritation.
• Unrefined organic shea butter — soothes and moisturizes underarm skin while giving the formula its smooth glide.
• Organic virgin coconut oil — adds glide, conditions skin, and contributes to the creamy texture.

How to use

1. Twist the bottom of the cardboard tube to push up just 1-2mm of product
2. Apply 2-3 swipes to clean, dry underarms after showering
3. Wait 30 seconds for it to set before dressing
4. Reapply midday if needed during heavy activity or hot weather
5. Store at room temperature — if it softens in summer heat, refrigerate for 10 minutes

About the transition period (read before your first use)

If you're switching from aluminum antiperspirants, your underarms need 2-4 weeks to recalibrate. During this window, you may sweat more than usual and notice stronger odor. This is normal and temporary. Your body has been chemically blocked from sweating for years; once it's allowed to function again, it briefly overcorrects.

What helps:

• Stick with it for the full 2-4 weeks — do not switch back to antiperspirant
• Wash with a clay-based or charcoal soap (or our Honey Bamboo Scrub Bar) for the first 2 weeks
• Reapply this deodorant 2-3 times a day during transition
• Drink more water than usual — helps your body flush stored toxins faster

By week 3, most customers report sweating returns to normal levels and odor is well-controlled with one morning application. The light at the end of the tunnel is real.

The craft

Hand-mixed in small batches in Oakdale, California. We slowly warm the tallow, shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax until they melt together, then fold in the powders (arrowroot, kaolin, bamboo, magnesium hydroxide, baking soda, zinc oxide) at low temperature so nothing degrades. The essential oils are added last to preserve their aroma. Each tube is hand-filled, capped, and labeled. Cardboard tubes are FSC-certified, biodegradable, and printed with soy-based inks.
