What's in it

• Grass-fed & finished beef tallow — slowly rendered from suet sourced from regenerative California ranches. The skin-identical lipid base. Vitamins A, D, E, and K naturally present.
• Organic cold-pressed mango butter — the cushion. Lighter than shea butter, packed with vitamins A and C, melts beautifully into skin without heaviness.
• Organic cocoa butter — rich in antioxidants and the reason this bar feels luxurious. Traditionally used to support the appearance of stretch marks during pregnancy and postpartum.
• Organic virgin coconut oil — adds glide, locks in moisture, and gives the bar its smooth tropical undertone.
• Organic beeswax — the structural ingredient that holds the bar's solid shape. Forms a breathable barrier that locks in moisture without suffocating skin.
• Cold-pressed organic jojoba oil — molecularly closest to the skin's natural sebum. Balances the formula and prevents heaviness.
• Vitamin E oil (mixed tocopherols) — natural antioxidant that protects the formula and supports skin healing.
• Organic lavender essential oil — the headline ingredient. The most studied essential oil for stress and sleep support. Calming aromatic qualities and gentle skin-soothing benefits.

How to use

1. Hold the bar in your palm for 5-10 seconds — body heat softens the surface
2. Glide directly across clean, slightly damp skin (after a shower or bath is ideal)
3. Massage into stretch-mark-prone areas (hips, belly, thighs) with extra attention
4. For sleep support: rub a small amount on inner wrists, chest, or behind ears 15 minutes before bed
5. For pregnancy use: apply to belly daily starting in the second trimester to support skin elasticity
6. Wipe the bar with a cloth before storing to keep clean

What to expect

• Texture: firm at room temperature, softens beautifully with body heat to a creamy glide. Slightly more cushiony than our Honey Tallow Lotion Bar because of the cocoa and mango butter combo.
• Color: warm cream-ivory with a soft golden undertone
• Scent: classic French-style lavender — floral but not perfumed, calming without being heavy. Subtle cocoa undertone from the cocoa butter rounds it out.
• Finish: rich and slightly cushioned — absorbs in 90-120 seconds. A more luxurious feel than the Honey Tallow Lotion Bar (because of the butter blend).
• Bar life: a full bar lasts 8-12 weeks of regular nightly body use
• Heat sensitivity: in temperatures above 90°F, the bar will soften. Refrigerate 10 minutes to re-firm.
• Storage: keep in a tin or jar between uses. Direct sunlight will fade the lavender aroma over time.

The craft

Hand-poured in small batches in Oakdale, California. We slowly warm the tallow, mango butter, cocoa butter, and coconut oil until they melt together, then incorporate the beeswax and jojoba. The vitamin E and lavender essential oil are added last, at the lowest heat, to preserve their potency. Each bar is hand-poured into individual molds, hand-removed, and packaged. Shelf life 12+ months unopened.
