• Grass-fed & finished beef tallow — slowly rendered from suet sourced from regenerative California ranches. Mirrors the skin's natural sebum for near-instant absorption. Vitamins A, D, E, and K naturally present.
• Organic cold-pressed mango butter — lighter than shea, rich in vitamins A and C. The airy cushion that makes this bar feel luxurious.
• Organic cocoa butter — rich in antioxidants. Traditionally used to support the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
• Organic virgin coconut oil — locks in moisture, adds glide, and contributes to the silky-smooth application.
• Organic beeswax — the structural ingredient that gives the bar its solid form. Creates a breathable barrier that locks in moisture.
• Cold-pressed organic jojoba oil — balances the formula. Molecularly closest to skin's natural sebum.
• Vitamin E oil (mixed tocopherols) — natural antioxidant that protects the formula from oxidation.
• Organic rose essential oil — one of the most expensive essential oils in skincare (roughly 10,000 rose petals per 5ml of oil). Warm, deep, unmistakably rose. Not synthetic "rose fragrance."
• Organic lavender essential oil — the softening middle note. Balances the rose and peony so the scent reads sophisticated, not sweet.
• Organic peony essential oil — the rare top note. Delicate, fresh, slightly green. Peony is notoriously difficult to extract naturally, making it a premium inclusion.

What to expect

• Texture: firm at room temperature, softens into a creamy glide with body heat. Slightly more cushiony than our Honey Tallow Lotion Bar because of the mango + cocoa butter combo.
• Color: warm cream-ivory with a soft golden undertone
• Scent profile: classic floral bouquet — rose opens confidently, lavender settles it into a grounded middle, peony adds the fresh-green lift that keeps it from reading heavy. Settles into a soft skin-scent within 30 minutes. Sophisticated, not little-girl-floral.
• Scent wear: 4-6 hours on skin, longer on clothes and hair
• Finish: rich, cushioned, slightly dewy — absorbs in 90-120 seconds
• Bar life: a full bar lasts 8-12 weeks of regular body use
• Heat sensitivity: in temperatures above 90°F, the bar will soften. Refrigerate 10 minutes to re-firm.
• Storage: keep in a tin or glass jar. Avoid direct sunlight, which will fade the floral aromas over time.

The craft

Hand-poured in small batches in Oakdale, California. The tallow, mango butter, cocoa butter, and coconut oil are warmed slowly until fully melted, then blended with the beeswax and jojoba. The vitamin E and three floral essential oils are added last, at the lowest heat, to preserve their delicate aromatic compounds. Each bar is hand-poured, hand-removed from molds, and packaged by hand. The rose essential oil alone represents a significant portion of the bar's cost — we use real, traceable, organic rose, not rose-scented fragrance oil. Shelf life 12+ months unopened.
