• Jar life: one jar lasts 6-10 weeks of daily body use
• Heat sensitivity: in temperatures above 85°F, the whipped texture may collapse (the air incorporated during whipping releases). The butter is still usable — just less fluffy. Refrigerate 30 minutes to re-firm.

The craft

The whipping is what makes this butter different. After slowly warming the tallow, shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax together, we let the mixture cool to just the right temperature — cool enough to start setting, warm enough to still move — and then whip it at high speed until air is incorporated throughout the mixture. The raw Manuka honey, aloe vera gel, rosehip oil, vitamin E, and essential oils are folded in last to preserve their potency. The result is a stable, whipped texture that feels almost weightless in the jar. Every jar is hand-whipped and hand-filled in small batches in Oakdale, California.
